As the question above states do you know anyone who only considers the Jurassic Park films to only be popcorn
entertainment films with little to no substance? Have you read or watch any reviews where the reviewer gives this impression?

Well the third one is considered a popcorn film by many.

I mostly mean 1-2.
There great films but sometimes reviewers just see them as just monster flicks.

I guess they're "popcorn" films in the sense that they were big Summer blockbusters. But these films had depth. They're much more than popcorn films.

Like I always say, art is relative and subjective. I was Reading that when the orginal JP came out in 1993 there were some reviews that implied that it was somewhat a popcorn film.

But now it is considered by many one of the deepest films ever. So I guess it depends on what you consider Deep.

JP/// is a popcorn flick to me in the traditional sense. There's not a whole lot of substance to it, IMO. I watch it because its fun. There's really not too much to think about while viewing it. I've never considered JP to be popcorn, and TLW... not so much either.

I have seen some people call JW a popcorn film too.

It all depends on fans tastes.

Jurassic Park might just be too boring for some casual filmgoers to even label it that.

More to the point though, yeah, I might know some people who'd call it a popcorn flick. But in all honesty, I don't have many friends who've even watched the movie.
